Biography
Sue grew up in Cornwall, surrounded by its unique people, beautiful coastlines and its wild interior moorlands.
Circumstances meant having to move away to different parts of England, and finally settling in Sussex for a number of years.
In Sussex Sue started to explore her desire to paint and draw, and so from a nervous novice, she began attending different courses, learning many techniques enabling her to find her own style. In 2017 Sue completed a year course with the respected Newlyn School of Art where eminent Cornish artists helped to refine and nurture her ability.
Sue Is now living back at home in Cornwall, and her passion for capturing the sea and landscape in all its colour, vibrancy and changing moods has been reignited. She strives to capture something of the soul of the Cornish landscape that she feels is within her, and wants to pass on to those that look upon her work, the rawness, the uniqueness and the beauty of her Cornwall.
